Our Honorary Ambassadors
Healing Through Storytelling. Empowering Through Opportunity
Our Honorary Ambassadors are visionary artists, leaders, and allies who lend their names, support, and influence to the Indigenous Film Academy’s mission: creating real pathways for Indigenous youth in film, television, wellness, and long-term employment.
At the heart of the Indigenous Film Academy is a commitment not only to artistic opportunity, but to healing. Our program was created to help address the mental health crisis impacting Indigenous communities by fostering connection, confidence, purpose, and belonging through storytelling, mentorship, and hands-on career training. Through creative expression, community support, and meaningful employment pathways, we aim to help combat the cycles of isolation, addiction, hopelessness, and suicide that continue to affect so many Indigenous youth.
Our Honorary Ambassadors help amplify the voices of the next generation of Indigenous storytellers while strengthening a program rooted in cultural pride, emotional wellness, creative excellence, and transformative opportunity.
Through their advocacy, visibility, and belief in our students, they help ensure this work has longevity, impact, and a ripple effect that extends far beyond the classroom and into future generations.
